1200px-Bowen_School_of_Law_ClassroomAn Auckland University law lecturer, Khylee Quince has come forward with details about a sexual misconduct incident involving two of her female students and male staff members from the law firm, Russel McVeagh.

The incident involved students being encouraged to binge drink and two 19 year old girls performing sexual acts with male staff members. The firm responded that the acts were consensual and the girls were adults who should have taken more “responsibility for their own drinking”.

The incident follows a string of alleged sexual misconduct occurrences dating back to the early 2000’s with the firms’ summer clerks. Quince complains that the firm needs to do more than dismiss cases of inappropriate behavior but provide a safe working environment for employees, clients and visitors.
