Wife Argues Prenup Legality with Millionaire Husband, Brooklyn Judge Upholds Prenup

A Brooklyn Supreme Court justice maintains the legality of a prenuptial agreement between a woman who claims to have been deceived by her millionaire husband into signing it, according to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

Before their wedding, Rihna Braha said Ezra Braha told her they had to sign a prenuptial agreement to appease his father or he would be “cut off.” According to Ms. Braha, the couple later torn up the signed copies of the prenuptial agreement on their honeymoon, reports the Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

The case came to court when Mr. Braha petitioned to prove the agreement’s validity to enforce its terms. Ms. Braha reportedly argued that the prenup should be null because she was fraudulently induced into signing the agreement.

Judge Jeffery Sunshine said there weren’t enough facts to uphold Ms. Braha’s claims, and he ruled the prenuptial agreement valid and enforceable.
