First Lesbian Arrest in Tanzania

A Tanzanian woman was arrested after a video went viral of her kissing and embracing another woman. Homosexuality is considered “against the order of nature” and illegal in Tanzania. Social media was in uproar against the “immoral” celebration of the woman in the video.
