Ex Alabama Teacher wants to make Sex with Underage Students Legal

Last August, Charli Jones Parker was convicted with having sexual relations with two 16 year old boys from her previous place of employment, Pickens Academy. She currently wants her case appealed, claiming that not allowing teachers to have sex with “teen students is unconstitutional”.

International issues regarding family law in Thailand are vital for families that cross borders due to different residences or due to business travel.

Parker was put away under the ruling that her actions violate an equality protection clause as a teacher. The legislation states that school employees are prohibited from having sexual relations with students under the age of 19 even if the student isn’t enrolled in the same school.

Parker’s lawyer claims that Alabama law does not prohibit people of other professions from having consensual sex with 16-18 year olds so teachers should be able to too.
