The wife of Derek Chauvin, the cop charged with the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, has asked for both of the couple’s homes as part of her divorce petition.

Kellie Chauvin, 45, filed for divorce just two days after her husband was charged.

Her husband had been filmed kneeling on the next for nine minutes as Floyd became unresponsive and ultimately died.

The result of Floyd’s death has led to nationwide protests against police brutality.

In her divorce petition filed in court, Kellie Chauvin asked for sole ownership of the couple’s two homes–one in Minnesota valued at $273,000 and one in Florida worth $226,000.

Outside of the two houses, the former Minnesota Beauty Queen asked for a “fair and equitable division” of the couple’s other assets including their bank and investment accounts, vehicles, and other property.

She isn’t seeking alimony.

Derek Chauvin, 44,  who is being held in jail on $1.25 million bail, has not yet offered a counter-proposal to his wife’s demands.
