Australia Massage Parlor Shut Down for Prostitution Reopened by Judge’s Ruling

The Hornsby Council had reportedly paid a private investigator to collect undercover evidence of prostitution to close the Hornsby Massage Centre.

In addition to being a full-service law firm, Chaninat and Leeds has a team of private investigators in Thailand with decades of detective experience for Thai and international clients.

After a year in court, the judge dismissed the case earlier this month (March 2015), ruling that the council’s evidence of sex being sold at the parlor “fell short” of the legal definition of “brothel,” which is more than one prostitute providing services, reports SMH.

The premier from the court’s jurisdiction, Mike Baird, reportedly said he would request a “full parliamentary inquiry” into the regulation of brothels across the state, because “he wanted to get it right,” according to SMH.
